Job Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
Research, identify, and evaluate potential content for acquisition for an OTT platform based on the platform’s audience and content strategy.
Analyze market trends, viewer preferences, and competitor offerings to stay informed about the content landscape.
Identify content creators and distributors for potential partnerships.
Negotiate licensing agreements and secure rights for the acquisition of content.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the potential success and impact of selected content.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging content formats, and new technologies related to content delivery.
Identify downward or upward trends and investigate the reason behind the changes.
Provide insights on market dynamics to inform content acquisition and strategy decisions.
Build and maintain relationships with content creators and distributors.
Collaborate with external partners to explore co-production opportunities and exclusive content deals.
Develop and maintain a diverse and engaging content portfolio for the OTT platform
Optimize the content library based on viewer feedback, performance metrics, and changing market dynamics.
Utilize data analytics to track content performance and viewer engagement
Generate regular reports and insights to support decision-making processes
Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for new content releases.
Collaborate on campaigns to maximize audience reach and engagement.
Stay adaptable to changes in the industry, such as emerging content formats, distribution models, and audience behavior.
Adjust content acquisition strategies based on evolving market conditions.
Required qualifications:
Graduate of any Background from any UGC approved university
Applicant who already worked at related field will get preferences
Skill:
Creativity and a keen eye for diverse and engaging content.
Strong negotiation skills to secure licensing agreements and rights for content acquisition.
Proficiency in data analytics to track content performance and viewer engagement.
Strategic mindset to align content acquisition with the platform’s audience and content strategy.
